I dont see the problem in it. It was just smear campaigns in the early part of the 20th century which caused it to be outlawed. Mainly due to the paper industry. Thanks American Politics!
Love this pic, especially the part with the $ spent on propaganda. Its amazing how much goes into keeping this harmless drug illegal especially considering law enforcement, court fees, ect. just sad.
Reminds me how sad it was that Proposition 19 was defeated, could have finally got some real support going there.

Nice, an informed blogger! I like how people automatically see marijuana as "bad" because it's illegal when cigarettes and alcohol are much more worse for you both physically and mentally. I don't smoke pot, but the government and economy would benefit quite a bit from legalizing it... it's not like having it illegal is stopping people from doing it anyway, just make it legal and tax the shit out of it!

they just legalized it for medicine here in Mi. Now when you get a doctor prescription for it and you get approved at a dispensary, they put you on a list and illegally harass 70 yr old cancer patients at gunpoint while trashing there house. All without a warrant. Its almost better to just do it on the sly so they dont have a list of houses and businesses to raid(which are legal)
